We do everything we can to give you a great experience with the 5 Day Fast program. Should you still want to cancel your purchase or if you experience a problem, you can find out how it works below. This policy aligns with Dutch legislation (Book 6 of the Dutch Civil Code, Distance Selling Act) and the European Consumer Rights Directive.

1. Right of withdrawal: 14-calendar-day cooling-off period

As a consumer, you have the right to withdraw your purchase within 14 calendar days without giving any reason. This period starts the day after you — or a third party designated by you who is not the carrier — physically received the 5 Day Fast package.

You don't have to give a reason, but we do appreciate your feedback so we can improve the program.

2. Exception: sealed supplements

Because the 5 Day Fast package contains food supplements that you ingest, an important legal exception to the right of withdrawal applies (art. 6:230p sub g of the Dutch Civil Code):

Sealed products that are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene are excluded from the right of withdrawal as soon as the seal is broken after delivery.

In concrete terms, this means for the 5 Day Fast package:

• Seal intact → you can return the package within 14 calendar days.

• Seal broken or box opened → the right of withdrawal expires and we unfortunately cannot take the package back. This applies to the jars, sachets and/or blisters in the box that are closed with a security seal.

The enclosed A4 sheet with day-to-day guidance is part of the program and may be unpacked, as long as the supplements themselves are still sealed.

3. How do you withdraw your purchase?

Let us know unambiguously within the 14-day cooling-off period that you want to withdraw your purchase. You can do this in one of the following ways:

• Send an email to support@5dayfast.nl with your name, order number and the statement that you are withdrawing the agreement.

• Fill in the model withdrawal form (see at the bottom of this policy) and email it to the address above.

You will receive a confirmation of receipt of your withdrawal as soon as possible.

4. Returning the product

After your withdrawal, you have 14 calendar days to return the product to us. Send the package to:

Tips for a smooth return:

• Return the product as much as possible in its original packaging, with all supplied parts.

• Add a copy of your order confirmation or the order number.

• Handle the product carefully during the cooling-off period: only unpack it and look at it as you would in a physical shop.

Depreciation. You are liable for any depreciation resulting from handling the product in a way that goes beyond what was necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning. In that case, we may deduct a reasonable amount from the refund.

5. Return costs

The costs of returning the product are at your expense, unless we indicate otherwise or the product was delivered defective or damaged. We advise you to use a shipping method with track & trace, as we are not liable for lost return shipments.

6. Refund

After receiving your withdrawal, we will refund the full purchase amount, including the standard delivery costs you paid for delivery, within 14 calendar days at the latest. We may wait to refund you until we have received the product back or until you have demonstrated that you have returned it, whichever is earlier.

The refund will be made via the same payment method you used to pay, unless you expressly agree to another method. We will not charge any fees for the refund itself.

Did you opt for a more expensive delivery method than our standard delivery? Then we will only refund the standard shipping costs.

7. Damaged or defective products

Should your 5 Day Fast package arrive damaged or incomplete, or should a supplement show visible defects, please contact us within 7 days of receipt via support@5dayfast.nl. If possible, please send a photo. We will then send you a replacement product free of charge or refund the purchase amount. The statutory rules regarding non-conformity (art. 7:17 of the Dutch Civil Code) remain fully applicable.

8. Important for supplements

For your safety, we would like to point out the following:

• The 5 Day Fast program is a food supplement package intended to support calorie restriction for five days, combined with organic fruit, vegetables and nuts. It is not a substitute for a varied diet or medical advice. 

•  Consult your doctor or a qualified professional before you start, especially in case of pregnancy, breastfeeding, medication use or a medical condition. 

• Keep the product out of reach of children. 

Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

10. Disputes

If we can't work it out together, you can register your dispute via the European ODR platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. Dutch law applies to this agreement.
